Description

The bay near the village Hedesunda is called Hedesunda Fjärderna, a unique landscape, with hundreds of small islands, marshes and ancient woods. The birdlife is very extensive; you’ll find a large variety of Woodpeckers, Owls and you can see kršiak rybár. Among the other birds you can see are čajka sivá, potápač veľký, orliak morský, hlaholka severská, potáplica malá, žeriav popolavý and labuť spevavá. The are is also the habitat for wildlife such as, moose, deer, beaver, lynx and bear.

Access

A small parkingplace near the lake. From the lake shore you can see a small isle with on the right site a pine tree with a huge kršiak rybár nest.
