This protruding headland in the sea is a good place to observe seabird migration in spring and autumn. Also a good site to look for resting birds in winter.
Bergön is a protruding headland north of Hornslandet. The seabird migration is at its best in late summer-autumn, but the area is exciting year-round as long as it is ice-free. Among the birds you can observe are norec tenkozobý, alka vrúbkozobá, potáplica malá, potáplica stredná, turpan tmavý, kajka morská and svišťúň zrkadlový.
Bergön is located 25 km northeast of the town of Hudiksvall. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking lot. From the parking lot, you can walk about a quarter of an hour out to the observatory at Bergö lighthouse. Good shoes are recommended, it is rocky and uneven. At the lighthouse you have good visibility to the north and east.
