Description
Teno Bajo is located in the north-west of the island of Tenerife and has preserved much of its ecological wealth. It is an open expanse of flatland at the foot of the cliffs of the Teno Mountain Range. It is populated largely by Canary Island spurge and tabaibas. A nice place for hiking and to watch birds such as penica okuliarnatá, penica sivá, ľabtuška ostrovná and víchrovník plavý. Easy to combine with Punta de Teno (see separate entry on Birdingplaces).
