Description
The Sendero Marambay begins next to the Molino del Arrierillo. From there you continue along a coastal path and pass a gate, entering the saltpans of the Salina de Dolores. You arrive at an observation platform which has good views of the interior of the bay and the marshes. You can see ducks, waders, gulls and lyžičiar biely. The path continues to a second viewpoint from where you can observe plameniak ružový. You can continue to the Arillo River (border between Cádiz and San Fernando). From there you have to return to the starting point. Among the birds that you can expect to see are lyžičiar biely, plameniak ružový, beluša malá, rybár sivý, čajka tenkozobá, kalužiak červenonohý, pobrežník čiernozobý, kamenár strakatý, hvizdák malý, kulík piesočný, kulík morský, kulík bledý, šišila bocianovítá and kuropta červená. In winter there is a chance to see bernikľa tmavá.

You can park at the Molino del Arrierillo. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Best time to visit is from August to March. From April until July many birds are absent.
