Viewpoint on Spain/Portugal border above the Duero river gorge in the Las Arribes del Duero National Park.
The Mirador de la Faya viewpoint is equipped with powerful binoculars. 300 species have been observed including bocian čierny, haja červená, haja tmavá, orol skalný, orol jastrabovitý, hadiar krátkoprstý, výr skalný, sokol bielopazúravý, škorec jednofarebný, dudok chochlatý, včelárik zlatý, penica sivá, penica fúzatá, kanárik poľný, lastovička skalná, skalník žltohrdlý, modraňa strakovitá and skaliarik okrový. Mammals in the area include Iberian lynx, beech marten, otter, wild cat, wild boar, genet, fallow and red deer.

Espagnol: El Mirador de la Faya, situado en el mismo casco urbano de Villarino de los Aires, nos ofrece una impresionante vista sobre el río Duero y sobre gran parte del Parque Natural de las Arribes, alcanzando también a ver una extensa superficie del vecino Portugal.
The viewpoint is along Calle Faya, at the northwest edge of Villarino de los Aires. Nearest parking is a kilometer away at Avenue Paz car park or in the Plaza mayor. The village is 80 km northwest of Salamanca city, and 100 km north from Ciudad Rodrigo.
