Description
Cueva del Moro is rock in the Sierra de la Plata. Famous among birders because of the rare swifts ( dážďovník lastovičí and dážďovník malý ) which formerly bred in Cueva del Moro. But you must be lucky to see them nowadays, although they are still observed. Easier to see is the colony of nesting sup bielohlavý and the skaliar modrý. Other birds you can observe here include sokol sťahovavý, lastovička skalná, zdochlinár biely and during migration hadiar krátkoprstý, orol malý, Včelár lesný and haja tmavá. Don't forget to explore the surrounding habitats which are also rich in birds.
