It is a promontory, about 30 meters above sea level next to a defensive tower from the 16th century, an ideal place to observe sea birds.
Cala El Xarco is an ideal place to see seabirds, both passing through and residents. The site is used every year for a census of seabirds. But just by going around the tower you can see land birds. Among the birds you can see here are čajka smejivá, čajka žltonohá, víchrovník baleársky, víchrovník hnedastý, kormorán chochlatý, víchrovníček morský, kormorán veľký, rybár malý.

Espagnol: Se trata de un promontorio, sobre uns 30 metros sobre el nivel del mar junto a una torre defensiva del S. XVI, sitio ideal para observar aves marinas. Se trata de un sitio, por su altura ideal para ver aves marinas, tanto de paso como residentes. El sitio es utilizado todos los años para la realización de un censo de aves marinas. Pero con solo dar la vuelta a la torre podemos ver aves terrestres. Podemos ver čajka smejivá, čajka žltonohá, víchrovník baleársky, víchrovník hnedastý, kormorán chochlatý, víchrovníček morský, kormorán veľký, rybár malý.
You get there through the N-332, you enter from the Alicante-Villajoyosa direction, follow the directions to Xarco beach, where you leave the car and start the climb to the tower.
