This hike is a combination of enjoying the beauty of Slovakia while also having a good chance of some typical central-European forest birds! While species such as hýľ obyčajný, krivonos smrekový, sýkorka chochlatá are easy to see, with a little luck (especially on the higher elevations) specialties such as ďateľ bielochrbtý and ďubník trojprstý reside. Perhaps through the trees you spot a orol krikľavý?

Access
Parking place near Hrabušice. Click on the P in the map to get directions. From there on you have an intensive 3.7 km through a narrow gorge which will get you to the top. From there on you can focus more on the birds, exploring the top and following the loop down afterwards. Only for walking.
