Description

Parque do Buçaquinho has six lagoons, a pine forest and a garden. The site is good for wintering ducks, grebes and, occassionally some Portuguese rarities occur here. The lagoons are also used as a resting spot for birds coming from Barrinha de Esmoriz. The nice woodland surroundings hold many tits, robins, firecrests and others.

Access

Parque Ambiental do Buçaquinho is located in Ovar. A1/A29 exit Esmoriz/Paços de Brandão. Follow until you reach the main church and go west. Then you will find the signs mentioning the park. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. A circular walk around the lagoons is about 2 km.
