Tarnowa Łąka - Dolina Rowu Polskiego is an area of open meadows surrounded by forest both from the south and from the north. It is a place of breeding, resting and feeding for many interesting bird species such as žeriav popolavý, kaňa sivá, kaňa popolavá, sokol myšiar (pustovka) and of passerines like pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý and pŕhľaviar červenkastý. In spring, especially when the area is flooded, you can see many species of ducks, as well as labuť veľká, labuť spevavá and labuť malá. A permanent resident is strakoš veľký. In 2016, the presence of a subspecies of the strakoš veľký - Lanius exubitor homeyeri, was recorded. In spring you can hear the chrapkáč poľný.
