Mixed-biotope area, close to the San River in Sanok with a significant diversity of fauna and flora. It contains a fen nature trail.
Sosenki is a relatively small area in the Sanok town, being partially covered in pine trees (for which the Polish name derives from). The main areas of interest here, putting aside nearby San River banks, are: pine tree park, two fishing ponds, surrounded by mixed shrubbery and trees, and also a fen - with its own nature/educational trail. The fen is a part of the PLB180003 "Góry Słonne" Natura 2000 area. It's mainly known for species of water-dependant birds, but also some woodland species and many birds of prey, having their territories there and nearby. Some species of water-dependant birds that can be found here in nesting season are: kačica divá, kačica chrapka, labuť veľká, potápka malá, chriašteľ vodný, sliepočka vodná, lyska čierna, cibík chochlatý, kulík riečný, močiarnica mekotavá, kalužiačik malý, bocian čierny, volavka popolavá, beluša veľká, rybárik riečny, kúdeľníčka lužná, trsteniarik malý, trsteniarik bahenný, trsteniarik veľký, trasochvost žltý, trasochvost biely and strnádka trstinová.
Many other water-dependant species can be met during migration or during winter, especially if the surface of ponds isn't covered with ice, like: kačica chrapačka, kačica lyžičiarka, kačica chripľavka, kačica hvizdárka, kačica ostrochvostá, chochlačka sivá, chochlačka bielooká, chochlačka vrkočatá, hlaholka severská, potápač malý, potápač veľký, potápka chochlatá, chriašť bodkovaný, bojovník bahenný, močiarnička tichá, kalužiak perlavý, kalužiak tmavý, kalužiak sivý, kalužiak močiarny, kalužiak červenonohý, čajka smejivá, čajka sivá, čajka bielohlavá, rybár riečny, potáplica stredná, potáplica malá, kormorán veľký, bučiačik močiarny, chavkoš nočný, svrčiak slávikovitý and trasochvost horský. Some birds of prey that can be found here in nesting season: Včelár lesný, orol krikľavý, orol skalný, kaňa močiarna, jastrab krahulec, jastrab veľký, orliak morský, myšiak hôrny, sova lesná, myšiarka ušatá, sokol myšiar (pustovka) and sokol lastovičiar. Migrating/wintering species: kršiak rybár, kaňa sivá, kaňa popolavá, haja tmavá, myšiak severský, sokol kobcovitý and sokol sťahovavý.
Forest/park and shrubbery is also home to many woodland species, such as: holub hrivnák, kukučka obyčajná, ďateľ veľký, ďateľ malý, žlna sivá, žlna zelená, tesár čierny, vlha obyčajná, sojka obyčajná, krkavec čierny, sýkorka uhliarka, sýkorka hôrna, sýkorka čiernohlavá, sýkorka belasá, sýkorka veľká, sedmihlások hájový, kolibiarik čipčavý, kolibiarik spevavý, mlynárka dlhochvostá, penica čiernohlavá, penica popolavá, králik zlatohlavý, brhlík obyčajný, kôrovník dlhoprstý, kôrovník krátkoprstý, oriešok obyčajný, škorec obyčajný, drozd trskota, drozd plavý, drozd čierny, muchár sivý, červienka obyčajná, pinka obyčajná, glezg obyčajný, zelienka obyčajná, stehlík obyčajný. Some, like hýľ obyčajný and stehlík čížik can be met here only during migration/winter. Other species, more related to fen and open habitats in general are: prepelica poľná, bažant obyčajný, chrapkáč poľný, bocian biely, strakoš obyčajný, straka čiernozobá, vrana popolavá, škovránok poľný, svrčiak zelenkavý, penica obyčajná and strnádka obyčajná.
