Description
Rezerwat przyrody Góra Chełmo is a large wooded on the Góra Chełmo hill (323 m above sea level) near the village of Chełmo. A tourist trail (marked in red) leads through the area. The reserve was established in order to preserve, for scientific, didactic and landscape reasons, a hill covered with a mixed forest, built of sandstones. The reserve is a nesting place for many forest birds. Among the birds you can encounter are tesár čierny, ďateľ prostredný, kolibiarik sykavý, vlha obyčajná, sokol lastovičiar, králik zlatohlavý, zelienka obyčajná and glezg obyčajný.

Coming from Chełmno, it is best to turn right after the mountain into a dirt road. After about four hundred meters there is a path that leads up the gorge.
