A characteristic feature of the Park Krajobrazowy Stawki is the presence of numerous streams, ponds and marshes. In these conditions, alder forests, low hornbeam forests and riparian forests developed. The most valuable forest areas are under protection as the ''Wielki Las nature reserve''. In addition to forests, peat bogs and mid-forest also meadows have developed in the park. Among the birds you can see are 6 species of woodpecker (ďateľ veľký, ďateľ malý, ďateľ hnedkavý, ďateľ prostredný, žlna zelená and tesár čierny) and also birds like vlha obyčajná, ľabtuška hôrna, sýkorka uhliarka, sýkorka chochlatá, sýkorka hôrna, sýkorka čiernohlavá and glezg obyčajný.
