Description
The Jezioro Dominickie lake is of importance for many birds. This 384 hectare reservoir is connected by a system of canals with other nearby lakes. Geese (with a predominance of hus divá), lyska čierna and various species of ducks (including turpan čierny and turpan tmavý), as well as potáplica malá and potáplica stredná, potápka chochlatá, potápka čiernokrká, potápka ušatá and potápač malý winter in great numbers. Of the birds of prey, it is not uncommon to see orliak morský, sometimes sokol sťahovavý.

Access
Observations are best made from the southern side of the lake (also due to sunlight). An unpaved pedestrian and bicycle path runs along the lake shore.
