A sand quarry located in forests on the border of the Silesian and Lesser Poland Voivodeships.
Bór Biskupi Sand Quarry is a habitat for species found in forests and sandpits. At least 75 bird species have been recorded here, and the rarest of them is škovránka krátkoprstá.
Bór Biskupi Sand Quarry is located 40 km east of Katowice, near the village of Bór Biskupi. It is difficult to move around this area by car. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. From the parking you can explore part of the area on foot.
