Description

A 400 meter boardwalk brings you deep into the marsh of Długa Luka, the largest complex of low peat bogs in the Biebrza swamps. At the end of the boardwalk there is a viewing platform from which you can see and hear the birds in the surrounding peat bogs. Many birders come here and hope to catch a glimpse of trsteniarik vodný. Among the other birds you can see in this area are trsteniarik malý, myšiarka močiarna, kaňa popolavá, kaňa močiarna, hvizdák veľký, brehár čiernochvostý, tetrov hoľniak, kukučka obyčajná, žeriav popolavý, pŕhľaviar červenkastý, svrčiak slávikovitý, svrčiak zelenkavý and chrapkáč poľný.

Very good access by car with the possibility of parking. Click on the P in the map to get directions. It's worth being there at dawn for the best birding.
