In Poelbroekpark and the Meerwijkplas you will find lakes, reed hedges, pools, flowery grasslands and lots of birds. One of the most special birds that have been spotted is the bučiak veľký, but it's extremely rare. These birds will much easier to find: potápka malá, slávik modrák, slávik obyčajný, chriašteľ vodný, kukučka obyčajná, trsteniarik obyčajný and penica slávikovitá. Other birds you can see here are kačica lyžičiarka, kačica chripľavka, kačica hvizdárka, kačica divá, kačica chrapka, hrdzavka potápavá, chochlačka sivá, chochlačka vrkočatá, potápač veľký,močiarnica mekotavá, rybárik riečny, lyžičiar biely and strnádka trstinová.
