Description
National Park De Groote Peel is an area of 1500 hectares of former peat bog. Now it is a nature reserve renowned for its bird wealth. A fairly open area, which has been excavated in the past (peat). Because it is quite wet it is interesting for birds. The area is surrounded by meadows and therefore meadow birds can also be found.
