Achttienkavels near Nieuwkoop is a polder with grasslands to the north-west of the Nieuwkoopse Plassen, where labuť malá and labuť spevavá can almost always be found in late autumn/winter. Also a nice area to check geese, regular groups of hundreds of hus bieločelá.
