Stajkovsko Ezero is a lake with some surrounding marshland and reed fields amidst agricultural fields. During migration many birds make a stop here. And year round this a good place to find ducks, herons, grebes and cormorants. Birds you can observe include kačica chrapačka, chochlačka bielooká, strakoš obyčajný, kaňa močiarna, včelárik zlatý, šišila bocianovítá, močiarnica mekotavá, kalužiak močiarny, bojovník bahenný, kulík riečný, chriašť malý, kormorán malý, bučiačik močiarny and trsteniarik veľký.

Access
Stajkovsko Ezero is located about 10 km northeast of Skopje. An unpaved road runs along the eastern bank of the lake. From the nearby village you can walk, cycle or drive to the lake.
