The Val d'Oten is a long valley that separates the Marmarole chain from the mighty Antelao massif. It is a destination frequented by lovers of hiking in nature in the open air, among coniferous and beech woods. Among the birds you can encounter are jariabok hôrny, tetrov hoľniak, snehuľa horská, hlucháň hôrny, Včelár lesný, pôtik kapcavý, kulík vrchovský (during migration) and orol skalný.
