Description
The Stagni di Marceddì and Corru S'Ittiri form part of a Natura 2000 protected area. These lagoons are a mosaic of brackish and freshwater habitats, shaped by natural inlets, sandbars, and artificial dikes. The shallow lagoons attract waders, gulls, and ducks. Birds you can observe include šišila bocianovítá, kačica chrapka, kazarka pestrá, kulík bledý, kulík piesočný, hvizdák veľký, kalužiačik malý, kalužiak červenonohý, kalužiak močiarny, kalužiak sivý, kamenár strakatý, bojovník bahenný, pobrežník malý, ľabtuška poľná, pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý, beluša malá, and čajka tenkozobá.
