Description
Part of the area belongs to a public park, while the rest is private (and not well kept). Still, it is possible to walk all around the lake (around 45 minutes + birding stops). There is a roost of hltavka chochlatá, a feral small population of bernikľa veľká and recently some kormorán malý. In the last years, wintering birds have included Siskin, strnádka trstinová, vrchárka modrá and kúdeľníčka lužná. Other nice birds are bučiačik močiarny, rybárik riečny and vlha obyčajná. During spring migration several passerine birds stop for a few days, including penica popolavá, muchár sivý and muchárik čiernohlavý. Rarities are possible (Collared flycatcher in 2018).
On sunny weekends a lot of people visit the area, so expect disturbance.

Free parking at the entrance of the park. Easy to access (public area). Walking paths are also accessible but not so well kept in the private area.
