Description

Parco di Gianola is located on the coastal tongue that separates the Aurunci Mountains from the sea of the Gulf of Gaeta and represents one of the few green edges of a strongly urbanized area. The protected area consists of hills close to the sea. Many bird species are present in the area, both marine and terrestrial. The area is especially good for birding during the migration period. There is also a ringing station in the area.
