These fish ponds 20 km northeast of Netanya attract a wide array of birds.
Hamaapil Fish Ponds is a complex of small and larger fish ponds separated by dams. The ponds attract a huge amount of different bird species. Birds that you can encounter are kršiak rybár, rybárikovec hnedohlavý, kačica chrapačka, hrdlička poľná, hrdlička malá, kukavica chochlatá, šišila bocianovítá, cíbik tŕňokrídly, kulík piesočný, bojovník bahenný, pobrežník malý, kalužiak štíhly, kalužiak tmavý, kalužiak močiarny, prieložník stepný and čorík bahenný.
