Description
Langness has good seawatch viewpoints north and south. The east coast is rocky and good for čavka červenozobá, drozd kolohrivec, myšiarka močiarna, plamienka driemavá and pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý. The west coast has exposed mud and seaweed-strewn rock at low tide frequented by herons, egrets, lastúrničiar strakatý, kazarka pestrá, pobrežník morský, kamenár strakatý and hvizdák veľký. Rarities seen here include škovran stepný, pobrežník tmavý and hrdlička poľná.

Access
Isle of Man can be visited by ferry from Liverpoool, Heysham, Belfast or Dublin, or by air from several airports. Car park at Derbyhaven which is on a regular bus route, then short walk across to Langness. Or park on the island near the lighthouse. Be aware there is a golf course; dont obstruct play or become an accidental target.
