Description
It is relatively flat undulating landscape with a few high vantage points to view across Lough Derg. orliak morský can be seen hunting and fishing, One nesting site can be viewed from a hide in Portumna Forest Park (als described on Birdingplaces) and another (on Private Land and not accessible to view) are within 5 km. myšiak hôrny are common and many duck, geese and waterfowl in the harbour areas.
