Description
The small Rif wetland is located in the area of Melrakkaslétta on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in northwest Iceland. It is a breeding area for many birds and has an ideal location between the coast and the mountains. Among the birds you can encounter are potáplica malá, potápka ušatá, kajka morská, lyskonoh úzkozobý, potápač prostredný, bernikľa tmavá, labuť spevavá, rybár dlhochvostý, kulík piesočný, brehár čiernochvostý, kalužiak červenonohý, pomorník príživný, čajka bielokrídla and čajka bledá.

Rif wetland is located at the end of the Snaefellsnes peninsula in northwest Iceland. You can park at the bird hide. Click on the P in the map for directions.
