Description
The road towards Makara is a great route to search for many typical inland breeding species that inhabit the drier parts of the island, like kuropta čukar, skaliarik okrový and brhlík skalný. The rocky outcrops are a great spot for skaliar modrý and strnádka sivokrká. The small scattered bushes are good for migrating pŕhľaviar červenkastý, skaliarik sivý and pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý.
Further down the road, the road lies adjacent to a shallow valley with scattered trees, and several small groves. These areas are great for migrants, like včelárik zlatý, dudok chochlatý, shrikes, warblers, swallows, swifts and flycatchers.
