Description
Just south of Sigri beach, another part of the Petrified Forest park is located, called Plaka Park. Besides worth visiting to admire several huge fossilized tree trunks, the area is also home to several typical rocky landscape species, like kuropta čukar, skaliarik okrový and strnádka sivokrká. Somewhere in the area, sokol bielopazúravý breeds and can be seen here often.
The park also offers a great view over the sea, and large flocks of víchrovník hnedastý can be observed.
