This part of Meladia valley can be fantastic during spring migration, and the area can be packed with migrants.
Somewhat further inland, you come accross a river ford that crosses the Meladia river (also called the Tsihliotas river). This whole area of Meladia valley can be fantastic during spring migration, and especially during fall conditions. There are several areas worth a visit here.
The river ford itself holds water during early spring, and several pools are present next to the river. These can be great for bučiačik močiarny, chriašť malý and many other species, like storks, herons and kazarka hrdzavá. The surrounding bushes are great for trsteniarik veľký, muchár sivý and žltochvost hôrny. The sky can be packed with flocks of hirundines, swifts and včelárik zlatý. Also, larger migrants, like storks and herons, can be seen flying overhead.
Just north of the area is a small fig grove which provides great shelter for many migrants. These fig trees can be packed with flycatchers and warblers, but also species like trsteniarik veľký and migrating sedmohlások olivový. There's also a small building covered in vegetation, which can be great for migrants too.
There's a small track the leads you more inland, and lies adjacent to the river. This track can definitely be worth searching for migrants.
On the other side of the ford (eastside), you can search the bushes and shrubs for migrants too. This part of the valley is also great for kuropta čukar.
The area can be accessed by the roads and paths in the area. You can search the area by walking these paths.
