Description
Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and skaliarik okrový. Birds of prey include sokol myšiar (pustovka), sokol bielopazúravý (especially at the acropolis), výrik lesný and myšiak hrdzavý. Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
