Description
At the south of the Mytilini peninsula is Charamida (or Haramida) Marsh. Easy to get to, lots of birds can be found there. In spring it is sometimes difficult to view the pools due to the tall reeds. In autumn the site is dry but still attracts many migrants and penica sivá occurs here year-round. Other birds you van observe in the area include lastovička skalná, muchár sivý, strakoš bieločelý, žľtochvost domový, pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý, sokol sťahovavý, ibisovec hnedý, šišila bocianovítá, skaliarik sivý, chochlačka bielooká, kačica chrapačka, krutohlav hnedý, kuropta čukar, sedmohlások bledý and strnádka sivokrká.
