Many waders can be observed in the reservoir itself all year round. For example: pobrežník čiernozobý, kalužiak perlavý, kalužiak močiarny, kulík bledý, kulík zlatý, cibík chochlatý, šabliarka modronohá and lyžičiar biely.

Many geese and waterfowl can also be spotted here; hus divá, hus bieločelá, kačica hvizdárka, kačica ostrochvostá and kačica divá. Rarities are also regularly observed here. brehárik ploskozobý have been observed here almost every year for example.
