The tidal flats and salt marshes in front of the Campener lighthouse attract many birds.
The Rysumer Nacken is an area developed through land reclamation near the city of Emden. A polder of about 750 hectares was created. The dam still forms the shoreline today. The tidal flats, reed areas and salt marshes of the Vorland Campen attract many birds.
The Rysumer Nacken is located on the eastern bank of the Ems between the Lighthouse of Campen in the north and the Knock channel in the south near the city of Emden. Press P on the map for directions.
