Description

The Raistinger Wiesen are part of the protected area "Vogelfreistätte Ammersee Südufer" and are the habitat of many meadow-breeding birds. In late spring the air is filled with the songs of škovránok poľný, ľabtuška lúčna, pŕhľaviar červenkastý, prepelica poľná and more. It almost feels like a glimpse into what our meadows once looked like, quite a rare experience!

There is a short trail where you can walk right between two of these meadows filled with life, simply perfect for birdwatching - so don't forget your binoculars!

Note: Entering the nature conservation areas like the meadows themselves is not permitted from March 1st to October 15th.
