Description
Naafbachtal nature reserve is a diversely structured area with wet grassland areas in the floodplain, alder riparian forests and old beech forests. Particularly worth a visit in spring and early summer. Breeding bird species include haja červená, rybárik riečny, strakoš obyčajný, penica obyčajná and vodnár potočný. In spring I was also able to hear a singing sedmihlások hájový and trsteniarik obyčajný and observe sokol lastovičiar (probably not breeding birds). There are several hiking trails in the area, which can be found on Komoot, for example.

Access
The Naafbachtal nature reserve is located northeast of Lohmar and south of Overath, within the Bergisches Land region. You can try to find a parking place in the villages nearby (for example in Seelscheid next to the St. Georg church) or on the side of the road, but it is strictly forbidden to drive inside the reserve. The circular walk shown on the map is about 7 km.
