Moorlinse is an important resting and breeding place for many birds in the north of Berlin. kaňa močiarna and potápka červenokrká breed here, orliak morský can be seen circling in search of food and the wetland is also popular with migrating birds, shore birds and water birds. The trees and bushes along the path between the pond and train tracks are full of passerines in spring and summer, such as slávik obyčajný, penica čiernohlavá and penica slávikovitá.
And in the fields around the pond, pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý and trasochvost žltý are regularly seen.
