Description
The Fish Ponds offer a nice walk between the ponds. Much of the ponds are shielded by reedbeds with fúzatka trstinová and kúdeľníčka lužná and other reedbed birds. The hides offer a look onto the water, where you might see kačica chrapka, chochlačka vrkočatá, chochlačka bielooká , potápka chochlatá etc. Often there are orliak morský in the trees around the ponds. There is a huge resting area for migrating žeriav popolavý just behind the ponds. That area is off limits, but huge amounts of žeriav popolavý flies over the ponds at the right time in autumn.

There is a small carpark at the entrance of the fish ponds at the edge of the village of Linum. Press P on the map for directions to the carpark.
