Especially on warm summer days the area is good for all kinds of raptors as they breed in the surrounding forests like Scheidebusch, Kannenbruch, Grönauer Heide. Woodpeckers, holub plúžik, bocian biely or žeriav popolavý pass by frequently. In the evening the call of up to 3 sluka hôrna is not unusual, sometimes močiarnica mekotavá too. Typicall breeding species are žeriav popolavý, pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý, škovránok poľný, pŕhľaviar červenkastý, strakoš obyčajný and ľabtuška lúčna.
