Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord is a complex of gravel pits west of Rössing. Breedings birds include cetia západná and trsteniarik veľký. More important from October to February for wintering waterbirds. Gulls and hus divá roost in July and August. Birds you can observe in the area include hus bieločelá, Hus siatinná, kačica chripľavka, kačica divá, kačica chrapka, chochlačka vrkočatá, potápač veľký, potápač prostredný, potápka malá, potápka chochlatá, lyska čierna, strnádka trstinová, čajka smejivá, čajka sivá, čajka žltonohá, čajka striebristá, and čajka bielohlavá.

The Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord are located west of the town of Rössing and north of the town of Nordstemmen. You can park along the road near the sports field. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From there you can explore the area on foot or by bike.
