Description
Bückeburger Niederung contains extensively used wet meadows and seasonal flooded grasslands along the near-natural river Bückeburger Aue. But the area also has tree rows, hedges, field shrubs and small groves as well as numerous, predominantly artificial ponds. In spring usually large areas are flooded. This attracts many birds. Among the birds you can encounter are hus bieločelá, bernikľa veľká, labuť malá, kačica chrapačka, kačica lyžičiarka, kačica hvizdárka, kačica ostrochvostá chrapkáč poľný, žeriav popolavý and cibík chochlatý.

Access
Parking on the district road from Meinsen to Nordholz. The area is best explored on foot, bicycle possible, not accessible by car. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 5 km long.
