Description
In the north-eastern part of the Brandstadl gravel pit, a path leads around a U-shaped body of water. There you can see potápka chochlatá, lyska čierna , rybárik riečny, trsteniarik veľký, trsteniarik bahenný and strnádka trstinová. A little further south, kulík riečný breeds on the bare gravel areas. Further west, there is an artificial breeding wall for brehuľa hnedá. The path leading there continues through the alluvial forest, where you can observe some typical birds such as tesár čierny and vlha obyčajná.

Access
The Brandstadl gravel pit is a one-kilometer walk from Hallbergmoos train station, where S-Bahn line 1 stops every 20 minutes. You can also park at the train station. Click on the P in the map for directions. Within the area, there are mainly small footpaths.
