Description
The Baddeckenstedt Teiche are ponds that are located in the nature reserve Mittleres Innerstetal, about 6 km east of the Derneburg ponds. Numerous waterfowl breed here, including around 15 pairs of potápka malá , 1-2 pairs of potápka čiernokrká and, for the first time in 2010, a pair of potápka červenokrká. Occasionally, potápka chochlatá also breed. In addition to kačica divá and labuť veľká, chochlačka vrkočatá, chochlačka sivá and kačica chripľavka are at home here.
