Description

The Annaberger Feld is a landscape conservation area. A big open area of grasslands surrounded by the Kottenforst forest. In the middle of the 110-hectare site is the Annaberger Hof. This former dairy farm is know a horse riding school that focuses exclusively on breeding and training horses for professional equestrian sport. The Annaberger Feld is grazed by the horses of the Annaberger Hof. The fields and the surrounding forest attract plenty of birds. Among the birds you can encounter are strnádka obyčajná, žľtochvost domový, strakoš obyčajný, haja červená, stehlík obyčajný, pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý, penica obyčajná and drozd trskota.

Access

The Annaberger Feld is located only 5 km south of the city center of Bonn. You can explore the area from the roads that cross the fields or from the paths that go around Annaberger Feld. Parking is possible at Wanderparkplatz Gudenauer Weg. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. A circular walk around Annaberger Feld is about 5 km.
