The 1,500 hectare wilderness area of Anklamer Stadtbruch is home to numerous nice species such as orliak morský, žeriav popolavý, červenák karmínový, čorík bahenný, svrčiak riečny and bučiak veľký. In summer you can still find large numbers of žeriav popolavý. Also all kinds of raptors are common like haja červená, kršiak rybár, haja tmavá, kaňa močiarna and sokol lastovičiar.

Parking in Bugewitz (click on the P on the map to get directions). The best way to explore the area from there is by bicycle. The circular route that is shown on the map is about 10,5 km.
