Description
Kochebi Lake is a remnant of the Caspian Sea located on 800 meters above sea level. It is a shallow lake of brackish water, surrounded by meadows, fields and a small forest. More than 150 bird species have been observed in the area. Birds you can observe include kazarka hrdzavá, šišila bocianovítá, kulík riečný, kalužiačik malý, kalužiak perlavý, kalužiak močiarny, bojovník bahenný, potápka čiernokrká, včelárik zlatý, krakľa belasá, strakoš obyčajný, škovran stepný, strnádka čiernohlavá, strnádka lúčna, skalník žltohrdlý, myšiak hrdzavý, kaňa močiarna, kaňa sivá and kaňa popolavá.

Access
Kochebi Lake is located about 4 km east of Dedoplitzskaro and is best accessed by car or bicycle. There is an unpaved road in the west and north of the lake. Press P on the map for directions.
