Description
Marais du Douhet is particularly interesting because it brings together a great diversity of species, sometimes in high density and at all times of the year.
Among the nesting birds are the kalužiak červenonohý, the šišila bocianovítá, the cetia západná, the cistovník ryšavý, the sokol myšiar (pustovka) or the kazarka pestrá. During migration, the lyskonoh ploskozobý or the žľtochvost domový are passing through. In winter, bernikľa tmavá, kulík zlatý and cibík chochlatý are stationed on the site.
All year round shorebirds, ducks, gulls, herons, grebes and many others are present.
