Description
Marais du Brennegi is a great area for bird watching. The ancient salt marshes, sandy peninsula and large mudflats offer a superb environment for observing birds. Among the breeding birds, one can observe kulík morský, which generally settles on the large sandy beaches. kalužiak červenonohý, šišila bocianovítá and šabliarka modronohá breed in the old salt marshes to raise their offspring. Other birds, such as , slávik modrák or strnádka trstinová, will rather settle in the reedbeds bordering the marshes. Still others, like kazarka pestrá, will prefer environments a a little drier.
In winter, the atmosphere changes, leaving room for a large number of birds. You can see potápka čiernokrká, bernikľa tmavá, or kačica hvizdárka, sometimes present by the thousands! Many gulls are also present in the area, such as čajka čiernohlavá, čajka malá or čajka sivá. And, of course, a very large number of waders in the marshy areas, with pobrežník čiernozobý, pobrežník malý, kamenár strakatý and brehár čiernochvostý for the most part. During migration, it is the lyžičiar biely who pass. On the ground, pobrežník krivozobý, kalužiak sivý and hvizdák malý are also very present, sometimes accompanied by surprises.

Français: Entre le Golfe du Morbihan et la Baie de Quiberon, cette presqu'île offre une zone de quiétude à de nombreuses espèces. Géographiquement située dans une zone propice à l'observation des oiseaux, ces anciens marais salants mariés à une presqu'île de sable et de grandes vasière offrent un superbe milieu pour observer. Parmi les nicheurs, on peut ainsi observer le kulík morský , qui s'installe généralement sur les grandes plages de sable. Les kalužiak červenonohý , les šišila bocianovítá et les šabliarka modronohá vont, quant à eux, s'installer dans les anciens marais salants pour élever leurs progéniture. D'autres oiseaux, comme la cistovník ryšavý , la slávik modrák ou le strnádka trstinová , vont plutôt s'installer dans les roselières bordant les marais. D'autres encore, comme le kazarka pestrá , vont préférer des milieux un peu plus secs.
En hiver, l'ambiance change en laissant place à un très grand nombre d'oiseaux. On pourra chercher les potápka čiernokrká , les bernikľa tmavá , ou encore les kačica hvizdárka , parfois présents par milliers! De nombreux Laridés sont aussi présents dans la zone, comme la čajka čiernohlavá , la čajka malá ou encore le čajka sivá . Et, bien évidement, un très grand nombre de Limicoles dans les marais, avec les pobrežník čiernozobý , pobrežník malý , kamenár strakatý et brehár čiernochvostý pour la plupart. En migration, ce sont les lyžičiar biely qui passent. Au sol, en halte, les pobrežník krivozobý , kalužiak sivý et hvizdák malý sont aussi très présents, parfois accompagnés de surprises.
