This former industrial site offers an exceptional biotope that guarantees habitat, food and protection for many bird species over more than 40 hectares. Cet ancien site industriel offre un biotope exceptionnel garantissant habitat, nourriture et protection pour une multitude d’espèces sur plus de 40 hectares. Selon les saisons, Gorge Bleue à Miroir, Échasses blanches, Avocettes élégantes, Grèbes à cou noir, Butor étoilé, Canards siffleurs ou Sarcelles d’hiver se côtoient sur les plans d’eau de la Réserve. Sur le parcours, il n’est pas rare d’entendre le chant vif et pressé du Phragmite des joncs ou de croiser demoiselles ou papillons au vol gracieux. La Réserve Ornithologique Baie de Somme - Grand-Laviers, particulièrement appréciée des photographes et des ornithologues, est aussi un lieu de promenade remarquable pour la famille.

Access
From Abbeville: take Departmental 40 towards The Somme Bay, in Grand-Laviers turn left at the crossing and then follow the traffic signs. From the Somme Bay (Saint Valery/ Le Crotoy): head for Abbeville, arriving in Grand-Laviers, take a right at the crossing, then follow the traffic signs.
There are three trails you can do: the small circuit of about 1km for about 45 minutes, the median circuit of about 2 kms for about 1 hour and a half, the big circuit of just under 4 kms for about 2h-2h30. The entrance fee is € 8

En provenance de la Baie de Somme (Saint Valery/ Le Crotoy) : prendre la direction d'Abbeville, arrivé à Grand-Laviers, prendre à droite au passage à niveau, puis suivre les panneaux de signalisation.
3 parcours s'offrent à vous : le petit circuit d'environ 1km pour environ 45 minutes, le circuit médian d'environ 2kms pour environ 1h30, le grand circuit d'un peu moins de 4kms pour environ 2h-2h30. Le droit d'entrée est de 8 €.

The Reserve is open daily from March 1 to September 30 from 09.00 to 18.00 and then from 10.00 to 17.00 from October 1. The reserve is closed on monday.
